Self-taught data scientist and big data blogger
Manu Jeevan is a self-taught data scientist and blogger at big data examiner (his blog). He started big data examiner to share his thoughts on data science and big data. Big data examiner is intended for:
- Business people who will be working with data scientists and managing data science-oriented projects.
- Programmers who will be deploying data science solutions.
- Self-taught data scientists.
He got passionate about data science during his MBA and took special interests in subjects like business analytics, operations research and market research. He also took several online courses to sharpen his skills in data science.
Manu then worked at the intersection of business and data science for four years at Crayon Data, Redevon IT Technologies, and Ideas2IT. During this time, he got an opportunity to work with really talented data scientists, machine learning engineers and product managers. This was when he learned the craft of communicating complex data science concepts to business executives.
